not easy being green
just a question while i mull things over in my mind. i don't think it needs it's own thread.
what do you guys think abotu sweden?

Sweden is nice- its more expensive than most parts of europe, but your salary makes up for that. Good research centers there (Karolinska etc). COLD winters- I hope you like snow and trees

yup, it's nice and Karolinska is good but it's too darn expensive and taxes are outrageous but then you don't need to pay taxes anyways....winters are not that cold if you stay in Stockholm but it's dark...really dark..in December you probably have only 4 to 6 hours of dim light...could be very depressing...if you're more up north- it snows a lot and of course more cold....and Stockholm is probably one of the prettiest cities in europe- very clean too....

hmmm, a white christmas. i've been trying to find a website which comapres the prices of things (ie milk, eggs, coffee) in different places in europe. my google-fu is weak today.
bug a bee
...yup, white Christmas but sometimes not, at least in Stockholm....I don't know any sites either but maybe some european members might know or the EU shld have an official site for this....

i found a newspaper article... it looks like i won't be applying in moscow.
