I should be learning some good Japanese songs. All the Japanese songs I sing are from Okinawa. And, from the last karaoke we went, there is very little chance that they will ever let me sing in English again.
Listening to your songs in later today.

I"m curious about your karaoke place that won't let you sing in english again , what did you do?

not the karaoke place but my friends. I did nothing that bad. Everyone was just drinking and no one actually singing as there were assoc. profs with us that day. I discovered the karaoke system and started singing.. . started with my fav. Okinawaian song. . 'Shima Uta' .. . then 'Hey Jude'. . .'Yer Blues . . and Why don't we do it in the road . . . starting from Hey Jude, my voice was a little wild.

I'm sure thats no reason to not be allowed- good choice of songs btw...although hey jude is a bit too long and repetitive for my taste, but so popular here...

I too like Hey Jude. It has a very soft ans soothing start and at the end we can shout as much as we want. The other 2 songs Yer Blues and Why don't we do it in the road are also repititive. They don't have any lyricsin fact. It is just repeating the same thing over and over. I also sang, Across the Universe . . and may be they are the only songs I can really sing.
