yo' mama
Hi TJ, I'm going good, I think. I've gone back to my good old habit of a diet coke and a kitkat sacrifice, and lo and behold, I have experiments working. I suppose my old gods of molecular biology travelled with me. Going back to oz for a week... supposed to be my graduation, but one assessor is holding out on me , so it's more of a get my stuff in order back in my old lab trip. And it's cold, but no snow yet, I'm exited and disappointed at the same time (seen snow twice in my life!).
Future+Netherlands= good, come and keep me company!!
That's all right, Mama.
Nope, TJ.. except hair and patience, I lost nothing.
Should I too think of running towards the Netherlands then
Good night, guys.

well, more liberal (not in an economical sense), more relaxed, nicer, more cosmopolitan (at least in the last 20 years, it seems to change slowly). And finally annoying southern region and heavy industry is missing, but coffee shops are available...

hmmm, there are political parties here that want to ban shopping on Sunday, want to ban women from voting, want to ban dual citizenship, and then there is the usual ban on "scary" people*. These parties were elected into government! I've had a few problems with phone/internet/bank/immigration/real estate/plumbers/ikea/transport, so maybe, i'm a little biased, but i miss efficiency.
* definition of "scary" people changes on the political climate.

shopping on Sunday and dual citizenship (at least in 99% of cases) were never allowed here so far...and the other parties you find in every country, and also in the government, a annoying and new European trend apparently (similar in Switzerland, Austria, France, Denmark). And the daily annoyances...well I was always tourist there, didn't realised this..
Anyway I forgot to add: they bicycle a lot, have surprisingly high funds for nature conservation and related jobs...
