ohayo minna san,
I did have a nice weekend- a concert, party and some snow festival and a snowstorm. how about you?
chalk
no snow here; was chilly but not as cold as everyone was feeling.
I cleaned my room, went out for dinners, tried cooking a little (but was disaster again).
concert??? who were there?
blackboard
what were you cooking?
the concert was an orchestra and a Soprano singing lovely Italian Arias followed by the orchestra playing Schumanns "fruhling" symphony
class room
ice cubes
was trying to make pumpkin soup. It became something else.
ballroom
hi BB-san....fresh pumpkin or straight from a can? ...next time just add coconut milk- it will mask all culinary blunders....
ball
no wonder Phillipinos and Thai use so much coconut milk in every possible thing. Next, I am going for instant soups
fire
instant would the best of course...but why make pumpkin soup-- they're very hard to peel or you need to roast them first and then scoop out all the meat which makes life a little harder...try other kinds of soup--those for dummies..
place
I used the frozen chunks of pumpkin with lentils and carrot (and a dash of curry powder) for my soup. Coconut milk sounds intriguing with pumpkin
people
then you have to try it, Lost-san.....and even with lentils too....and curry flavours mix well with it....most southeast asians cook this way....
ooops...finally sleepy now, time for my royal snooze...oyasuminasai, Lost-san, minna-san....
