Boo Radley
Not long till your holiday though V!
booo said the ghost
AHHH! This would have to be the most stressful time leading up to a holiday, ever. Leaving on Saturday morning for Milan, and then off the Melbourne... where there was an earthquake. A very small earthquake, I think a lawn chair may have fallen over, but still... WHY NOW?? And then up to Brisvegas! That is when the real holiday will begin. I have to repack my bag today, I've put in too much... I was thinking of bringing my big laptop, but then i'll start doing work... so i'll just bring my tablet... but what if i need to write something more than an email? the stress is getting to me. and i've had to race to get my residency approved for another year, and that office work was taking time. And i got a letter in french, and I don't understand what they want, "I have a responsibility in the next weeks to receive a correct document", what on earth does that mean? and I had to order mice to teach someone how to do a procedure, and I have to analyze my fish data, and then present that tomorrow... AHHH!
ectoplasm dripped down the walls
Woah! Yep, this sounds like a typical run up to a big holiday to me. Once you're on that plane all the stress will vanish!
I'm sure the earthquake in Melbourne was nothing too much and remember that northern Italy has had some shaking recently too- so you'll be well used to it. I'm sure if you need to write more you can use your tablet or find a computer to write on.
I always pack too much for a holiday, I'm jealous of those who can take a tiny suitcase of backpack with minimal clothing. I'm always worried I won't be prepared enough for what ever may happen.
The Blob

Hi Mlle C, with air-condition luxury you cannot complain and every time is a good time for holidays
soft
well, even you will start melting here.... and we can't just drop everything and go on holidays....vacations need to be meticulously programmed and planned well ahead of time ...

whereas you just start to thaw? and sure spontaneous vacations are nice...just grab some stuff you need, drive to the airport and select the next cheap flight
N-
sure, sure...cheap as usual....if they have a standing room only ticket and a hundred transfers- that's what you would buy......
N2O
not cheap but spontaneous...and standing room only tickets?? I guess only sold by Canadian Airlines, here they're too cheap and dangerous
