yup, i wrote about alternative promoters. i wrote about the rare tumour. i wrote about what is known about the stroma and cancer. i also did a bucket load of rt pcr on the mice bits, and i have some really cool pictures of a really rare tumour.
hmm, mice are not human, therefore, although there are some similarities, it is possible for there to be significant changes, ie the effect of aromatase inhibitors. what happened?

Dunno- maybe the promoter sequences of the genes are a little different so respond differently... or some residual gene expression in human cells causes the changes- these are the 2 options I"m going with.
