Ah! do U mean to say there was no one there to open the door for HRH_? How could that have happened?
We should immediately look into this.
And, U forgot the magic word? 'Open Sesame!' That should have done it.

oh yeah...one of our worst nightmares is coming home on a Saturday night.. uhm....early morning...in the dead of winter..at least -20 degrees (on a good day) and you can't find your key...then you've to take off your gloves...rummage thru your bottomless bag...or you start shaking it or rattling it hoping to hear its jingle....meanwhile, you fingers start to lose sensation so the more you can't feel the nook where the stupid key has hidden itself...really a nightmare...
and yup, BB-san...I've to scold my butler...and the magic words won't work either, he's kinda hard of hearing.......
ok minnasan, BBsan, V....time for my royal beauty sleep....enjoy the rest of your Thursday, guys...we're almost there......oyasuminasai...
mercury poisoning
i'm totally up the creek if i lost my keys. i don't keep spares hidden around the house, and there is no feasible way to break in ...anymore. (house was broken in 3 times last year)

so it is a global problem eh. The only time I lost my house keys was some years back when I was stupid enough to go in heavy rain to try some South Indian cuisine. The bad luck started early but I didn't realize. I forgot to take the map; got in wrong bus; got off wrong stop; had to walk more than an hour trying to figure out where I was; but the food was almost good. With my keys were my USB stick and office keys. Now, everytime I go to some misadventure, I leave my keys at office.

I survived! actually no fuss at all- we talked about golf, flying business and first class and whale meat....
I have farmed out spare keys to 2 friends in case I lose mine... I lost car keys before now- hiking in the depths of Scotland, when we back tracked to look for them, they were dangling precariously between the slats of a wooden bridge over a bog. We were 20-30 miles from the nearest village at this point... somehow my parents have never trusted me with keys again.

ah! I got to go home then. I bought eggplants thinking I will attempt some Turkish cooking but I havent done anything about it yet nor do I think I will. May be put them in ramen or something.
Lithium batteries
I so misread that and thought you were going to make Turkish ramen - maybe you could try that though
