Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus
in UK there should also be your holiday..., Victoria day...or do you have a different one (e.g. the wife of the Habs founder ); and this is a very religious country, or church-dominated...and the few holidays the only advantage some have from this condition
aphorisms
I don't think so...only here I think....but we can ask Lost-san ....and which is a very church-dominated country? Germany?
amphora
yes Germany, especially the southern part...
or have a look here
metaphora
but you asked if it's celebrated as Victoria Day over there in the UK- I think it's only here that it is, but a holiday by any other name is still a holiday so let's celebrate......
metazoa
then Canada only remains loyal to her?
wikipedia also saiz:
"The holiday is colloquially known as May Two-Four in parts of Eastern Canada a double entendre that refers both to the date on which the holiday usually falls (24 May) and the Canadian slang for a case of 24 beers (a "two-four"), a drink popular during the long weekend."
I guess this makes it quite obvious why you still celebrate it
metaphysics
well, not all of Canada....here in Quebec, we actually celebrate it as Journée nationale des patriotes.....and the two-four is the number of flowers, shrubs and whatnots that we're expected to plant on this day...ppfftt.... wiki is not as omniscient as it thinks it is...
...
meta-analysis
of course I left out the little "
enjoy the Fête de Dollard
Fourier analysis
and who's Dollard? ...you really shldn't believe everything wiki says...
too difficult for me
Adam Dollard des Ormeaux, wikipedia says it was an unofficial name for this darn day
Good night then darling surprisingly holidaying RH, enjoy the whatever day
figures
only until 2003...now they've included all the patriots......
