hi
i'm trying to make a solution of edta 0.5M as said in books, edta will dissolve in ph near 8 but i want an edta solution at ph 7.2 without any chloridric acid addition. is it possible? thanks |

hi
I've never heard of EDTA at a pH lower than 8. Sorry can't be of much help. Definitely doesn't dissolve using HCl until you reach very close to 8. |

EDTA won't go into solution until you reach pH 8.0.

Di sodium salt of EDTA should dissolve at 7.2. But, i donot the know the probability at 0.5M concentration.
