i will answer as well to questions posted on this forum. There was no offense in my post. It was just for pointing out that sometimes google may answer in a shorter way. and please is welcomed.

I agree with you, Fred

the 'please' is important. it's the 'send me this answer now' stuff that gets to me. i would answer for someone who asked nicely with the magic word, except when it is obvious that someone has done no research whatsoever....I also think, for someone who has already tried to find the answer, that coming to this forum at least shows some resourcefulness

I think it is great when there are questions, even simple questions because it makes you think. However, I think that posters need to be clear about the information that they are seeking and not "tell" us that they want a report of the whole subject. This one was my favorite.
