cDNA library kit - library construction (Sep/26/2005 )

Hi all...I was wondering if anyone could recommend a suitable kit(s) for construction of a cDNA library...needs to be for directional cloning.

Thanks,

C

Hi Cia 34,

I recommend you to use the CloneMiner cDNA library construction kit (Invitrogen, Cat. No. 18249-029) which does not use restriction enzyme cloning techniques but other novel approaches which result in cDNA libraries of very high quality.

You will find detailed information about this kit on the INVITROGEN web page: www.invitrogen.com

Hope this helps,

Danilo

Hi Danilo
How about clontech,PCR select cDNA substractive hybridization kit

I used the Creator SMART cDNAlibrary construction kit from Clontech... It's very good!!
