DNA sequencing - (Aug/16/2005 )

Anyone can recommend a good company to do DNA sequencing especially the plasmid DNA sequencing?

Seqwright is better one , u easily get upto 900-1000 bp reads, sp go for it.

have you looked up the biochem department of a nearby university? although i have not worked outside of university they usually have decent rates, & both universities i have been to do great work & are friendly with troubleshooting advice when necessary. biggrin.gif

Thank you very much for the suggestion.

I am in LA. As the sequencing service in our school is not very satisfactory. I sent the samples to UC Davis. It seems that they cannot sequence large plasmids.

You are in LA, there has to be some good sequencing companies between LA and SD.

Of course I have googled it. There are so many companied available. Don't you think it is better to seek suggestions first? !

Like someone in China or India is going to know about a good sequencing company in LA??

I think a better question to ask might have been which sequencing companies have people had good or bad experiences with.
