Formalin-fixed tissue - DNA extraction - (Aug/12/2005 )

OK ... I have formalin-fixed tissue and need to make DNA or RNA.

What suggestions do people have?

I would like to recomend you RNaid Plus Kit, from Q-Biogene. I am using this kit and it just work without any problem. If you cant this kit, you might thinking of using Ambion kit.

I use the qiagen kit, works fine with very old spleen blocks and is mess and hassle free = expensive
