Antibody for inflammatory cells - (Jul/19/2005 )

I'm trying to find antibody for monuclear cell infiltrate I assume correspond to monocytes, plasma cells or macrophages. I will use sections for immunostaining. Which antibody is good to detect inflammatory cells?

Thank you very much! smile.gif

Anti-CD68 might be a possibility. CD68 is expressed on macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils and large lymphocytes and also in stimulated T cells and NK cells.

We tried this antibody once in ECM-rich tissue and it worked really fine.

Are you looking for mouse or human markers? If mouse, try CD68, CD11b, F4/80, syndecan. If human try CD14, CD68.
