non-specific parietal - immunohistochemistry (Jul/08/2005 )

is non specific parietal cell staining in formalin fixed stomach tissue due to long DAB incubation or is it due to peroxidases?, sections were pre-treated with 3% peroxidase for 10 mins.

Hmm, do you have a picture?
Do you have more details about your protocol?
Are you getthing this staining in your negative control also?

From the limited info available to me, I would guess it's probably endogenous biotin. Normally the peroxidase block you have done is sufficient (except for hematopoietic tissues such as spleen).
