Units of trypsin? - (Aug/07/2001 )

I need to make up a trypsin sol'n containing 0.016 Anson units of trypsin ,0.02M EDTA, 2.5% triton x-100to break up the milk proteins in my sample to extract the brucella dna for pcr... the problem is i have no idea what anson units are can some one please explain...thank you
