Alexa to replace PE - For flow cytometry (May/12/2005 )

I want to label and in house antibody with PE. Since this is laborious procedure instead I would like to use an Alexa conjugate which will work for flow cytometry. Can someone suggest which one I should use? Alexa 546?

I guess all alexa conjugates can work for flow cytometry. Just make sure your laser can excitate conjugates at 546 nm.
So far I just used alexa 488 nm which worked great.

Thanks for replying! I want to know which one is closest to PE in excitation and emission and whether someone has used it as a replacement for PE.
