About EDTA dissolved in acetone - (Apr/17/2005 )

Could someone tell me How to prepare "acetone containing 0.07% 2ME, 1mM PMSF and 2mM EDTA" solution? As I prepared this solution,I found that EDTA could not dissolved in acetone

EDTA needs a special pH-value to be dissolved. I can´t remember for sure, it´s something around pH 8.
So if you can find out which pH is needed EDTA will go into solution.

you need to prepare an aqueous EDTA stock solution. For that dissolve EDTA powder and it woill dissolve when ph is very close to 8. Then you can use it for your acetone solution.
