Lentiviral vector for infecting primary cells? - Any suggestion for a suitable vector? (Feb/24/2005 )

Hey All,

I wish to start using a lentiviral system to infect primary cells, but I haven't been able to find a really good vector. I have been looking at the ViraPower system from Invitrogen, but it doesn't really fit with my current constructs. Furthermore the system is very expensive and looks kinda goofy....

Any other suggestions for lentiviral vectors? And yes it needs to be lentiviral - MLV based system won't work

Oh ya - it is needed to express a transcription factor in murine cells

try TronoLab or Salk (verma Lab).
