Sp2/o Myeloma cell line - Media for growing sp2/0-Ag 14 cell line (Jan/05/2009 )
I have ordered sp2/0 -Ag-14 myeloma cell line from American type culture collection. They are supplying their cell lines in Dubeccos modified Eagles media. I would like to use Iscoves modified dulbeccos medium as this media is good for high density hybridoma cultures.So can i grow the Sp2/o myeloma cell line supplied in DMEM media from ATCC in Iscoves dulbeccos media ?It would be great to hear a response .

No worries to grow them in IMDM it works fine all our myeloma cell line (SP2, PAI etc..) are grown in IMDM supplemented with Beta mercapto ethanol
