siRNA modification to make it more hydrophobic - (Dec/03/2008 )

Hi,

I am new to the community. Hope you people are rocking with your research.

As all of you know targeting SiRna is very tough. We are looking a approach where we can suitably modify SiRna (without altering its activity) such that we can make it more hydrophobic..

I have seen few papers mentioning conjugation of cholestrol to SiRna.. Please let me know the steps involved or other probable methods for making hydrophobic stable SiRna

I m waiting if some could help me
