has anyone used PopCulture from Novagen? - (Nov/24/2008 )

it's a reagent that supposedly allows you to extract protein directly from E. coli cultures without needing to spin and sonicate.
sounds convenient, but just wanted to know if it actually works well before i dish out what little money we have in the lab, haha.
