Phenol Extraction - Stupidity? (Nov/12/2008 )

Hello,
I am a complete idiot and did a DNA extraction using the Phenol/C/I (24:24:1) waste bottle instead of the P/C/I itself. I got a pinkish/red layer on the bottom and a clear/cloudy mixture at the top so I know I got some form of layer separation...but still, am I completely screwed?

I followed two of these 'waste' washes with one chloroform/isoamyl (24:1 - I know this solution was pure) extraction.

Please advise...

Contamination will be the issue here - other samples mixed in with yours!
