Analysing media - (Nov/10/2008 )

Probably a really obvious answer, but how do I analyse a supernatant from cells? What I am doing is co-culturing cancer cells with astrocytes eitherside of a membrane and need to analyse the media on the astrocyte side of the membrane. I need to know the levels of ECM components such as fibronectin and laminin but not sure how to quantify this?

Please help ASAP!

Are their specific kits to measure these proteins. Sounds like you need and quantitative not qualitative test. Elisa?

Thanks for your suggestion, I have looked into ELISA kits but there are none available that are ready to use, I'd have to make my own and really do not have time! Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
