convert w/v% to v/v% - (Nov/06/2008 )

Just wonder, how to calculate if i want to convert the w/v% to v/v%

for example, i have only BSA 30% solution, and the protocol stated that it need 3% w/v BSA as diluent (the protocol used the powdered form of BSA).

p/s: Just need a confirm ans, all your comments are welcome.

Since BSA is a solid, any percent solution you have is going to be w/v. Thus your 30% solution is 10x.
