Drying 0.1 M HCL lysate - (Nov/04/2008 )

I need to dry ~.5 mL of 0.1M HCL lysate for an expt measuring cyclic AMP (cAMP). The only "dryer" I have access to in a lab nearby explicitly forbids the use of HCL (to prevent corrosion of parts?). Another lab has a vacuum dryer, but it is broken.

What other options do I have? Does anybody know if cAMP would be stable in 0.1 M HCL long enough to let it air dry?

Many thanks to him/her/gender neutral automated electronic answer generator that can help me out.

I can think of two options.
1. Blow off HCl with a stream of N2. Might be too slow, though.
2. Can you not adjust the pH with some NaOH?
