Water Bath Disinfectants with color indicator - Suggestion for brands and companies (Oct/22/2008 )

Hi ppl,

(Not sure which thread I should post this in)

I'm searching for a water bath disinfectants with color indicator.
From what I've read, there is this type of disinfectants in the market that would change from blue to colorless (and that's the time you need to either add more disinfectants or change the water in the water bath)
However, I can't seem to find the brand of that type of water bath disfectants nor the company/distributor that carry it.

Any recommendation or suggestion?
Feel free to recommend the one that you are using...as our lab really needed one right now.

Thank you very much. laugh.gif

Labamor is selling a waterless metal bead bath. It may solve your problem. I just received their free sample - a bag of metal beads. Of course the sample is not enough for you to fill the water bath. On this page you can request free samples http://labarmor.com/bathdemovideo.html

All of these are very dilute solutions of copper sulfate. You can make your own.
