SDS buffers - (Oct/16/2008 )

Hi every body;

i am new in SDS buffer preparation

i would like to prepare both the resolving & the stacking buffers &
i don't know which of them i will use, Tris base or Tris HCL

1M Upper Tris Buffer (pH 6.8) 400ml
Tris Base 48.4g
dH20 320ml
pH to 6.8
QS to 400 ml with dH20
Autoclave 30 min at 121°C
Store at room temp.

1.5 M Lower Tris Buffer (pH 8.8) 1000ml
Tris Base 181.5g
dH20 800ml
pH to 8.8
QS to 1000 ml with dH20
Autoclave 30 min at 121°C
Store at room temp.
