mRNA concentration - how to concentrate mRNA (Oct/05/2008 )

Hi all,
my lab does not have a speedvac for concentrating mRNA.
can any one suggest the other way to concentrate mRNA

for mRNA isolation, i use promega PolyATtract mRNA Isolation Systems. follow the manual, it suggest us to add 0.1 volume of 3M sodium acetate (pH5.2) and 1.0 volume of isopropanol to the elute, then incubate at -20C overnight.
for the next day, centrifuge at >12000xg for 10 minutes. resuspend the RNA pellet in 1ml of 75% ethanol and centrifuge again.
for short term storage, the dry pellet can be resuspend in RNase-free water and store at -70C.

thats wat im using. as i know for other kits, there also provide the precipitation step, and it seems to be quite important..

I do use polyA tract mRNA isolation system and tried the same way as u said and the pellet obtained was almost invisible. then i have quantified the mRNA using spectrophotometer which gave low OD value but when I tried to view it on gel nothing appeared. have U ever tried to quantify mRNA or did U run it on gel . any suggestions are appreciated
