finding a protein's function - (Sep/24/2008 )
hi all!
im studying a protein who's homologues are all molecular chaperones but i cannot find this activity in my protein. so i want to find the function of my protein any ideas on other spectrophotometric assays or on gel assays or ANYTHING at all!!!

you may get hints from the proteins which are co-expressed with your protein of interest;
did you check chaperone activity with native protein or overexpressed? you may have to renature your protein correctly...
