New in long range PCR buisness!

Want to design primers for LR-PCR to cover the enitre gene (50kb). I'm using primer3.
Q1. How to get primers to cover the start position?
Q2. Is the NC_number the correct sequence to insert for designing genomic DNA primers?

Hi!

I'm not so sure the long range PCR is the easiest way to achieve your goal. Is there no BAC or YAC available, covering the genomic area and in which you can tag your protein or from where you can retreive the gene into another smaller vector.
