Preserve monocytes for DNA extraction - (Jul/19/2008 )

Hi !

I need preserve monocytes for 24-48h between 4-10°C prior to DNA extraction. My question is: What could be a convenient cell liquid preservant for cells, avoiding cell lysis?

In my hands PBS worked fine. You could also use HBSS with BSA/serum (to keep them happy ).
