Protein questions - (Jun/29/2008 )

I am having some difficulty understanding the nature of what proteins are. Now, they arent always enzymes and they arent always quaternary, I guess I am having difficulty understanding if they are either linear chains of nucleotides or branched chains of amino acids.

Thanks everyone in advance

You're saying you have difficulty in understanding... let's see - the very first phrase of Wikipedia definition of protein?...

ramulus, based on your previous questions and this, you present an interesting case-study!

Are you trying to learn Biology online? Then may be you should enroll in a real school.

If you are already in a school, you should un-enroll and take up something more understandable like business or law.

From you questions, you do seem like a bright fellow, just that biology may not be for you.
