spatial and temporal patterns of transcription - (Jun/22/2008 )

Hi
I often come across the term spatial and temporal patterns of tranccription...I was jus wondering what this mean in simpler term.
When i try googling, i usually get scientific papers..which unfortunately dont make it any simpler for me to understand. Thanks.

Hallo, i am not sure but i think spatial can mean tissue specific, and temporal is related to the stage of ontogenesis or season, or any time limited condition.

It's helpful to think about what the terms spatial and temporal mean. A spatial pattern is one that defined by location (e.g. changes between different tissues) and a temporal pattern is one that changes over time (e.g. during development).
