CaPO4 transfection and Temperature - (Jun/17/2008 )
Howdy,
In our lab our AC is constantly broken and by the end of the day our tissue culture rooms are around 34-37C. I was curious if these warmer temperatures would reduce the amount of precipitation particles in a CaPO4 transfection? I haven't noticed that much of a significant decrease in transfection efficiency, but we are trying to optimize our lentiviral titers and any small inc transfection % would be great.
This was just a question that came to me as I was working in the hood yesterday. Any further insight would be appreciated.
Thanks and have a good day!

Oh my, you must be sweating a lot. Sorry for you.
Knowing most transfection time will be inside of your incubator at 37 C. I would tentatively say no.
