how to prepare 0.1 M sodium acetate buffer, pH 5 - i'm bad with my chemistry! (Jun/12/2008 )

Hi...i've tried looking all over the internet for a simple instruction on how to make 1 litre of a 0.1M Na-acetate buffer, pH 5 bt there seems to a dearth of such sites. So can someone please help me with this? i know i've gotta use the handerson-hasselbach equation but i don't know how or where to start. help!! wacko.gif

28.82 mL of 1M acetic acid
273.3 mL of 0.3M sodium acetate
fill up to 1L with water
