miRNA northern blot using biotin probe - (Jun/11/2008 )

Hi, everyone,

Have anyone used biotin probe for miRNA northern blot? I wonder whether biotin is strong enough to detect miRNA, and how about the design of the probe? Should I use full lenght of the targeting miRNA with a loop at the end, or have someone used miRNA probe construction kit from Ambion before? Looking forwards for sharing of experiences
