i would assume these are abreviations for species

mml: Macaca mulata (?)
ggo: Gorilla gorilla
ppy: Pongo pygmaeus (orangutan)
lla: ?
bta: Bos taurus (cow)
mdo: Mus domesticus ?
sem: ?

gga: Gallus gallus (chicken)

of course i could be completely wrong, i'm not so familiar with miRNAs
