Antigen retrieval for Phospho-p38 - (May/31/2008 )

Hi All.

Does anybody has experience with antigen retrieval for phospho-p38? I got mineralized tissues (slides with hard and soft tissue from mouth) and I'm trying to staining for phospho-p38. I'm using positive slides for that but I can't see any staining.

I'd appreciate any help!

Thanks

you have to run controls with anti-non-phospho p38 and stimulated tissue to get phosphorylted p38; it may be possible that the cells of your tissue sections do not have a phosphorylted p38
