what about 1N HCl ? Can this be autoclaved ?

NO!
Unless you want to fill the autoclave with HCL vapours...

Again, as with NaOH, there's no need.

i have autoclaved a 1N NaOH solution before actually. No problem but probably not neccesary .

Ya....I agree with you. NaOH is a strong alkaline, they shouldn't be any growth inside the solution. Thanks. I prepared it using sterilised distilled water and just keep in room temperature. The solution is clear,no contamination.

Another reason to point out is that.. well there's no carbon/N/ or P source to support growth
