protein extraction from Daphnia/rotifera - (May/01/2008 )

Hi,

I would like to extract proteins, but i do not know what lysis buffer i need to use. i tried to use triton x-100, but someone told me that this is not enough. do you have maybe a recipe for lysis buffer for this kind of animals?

I do not work with Daphnia (magna) but I know that it is a model for hemoglobine research; try to find recent papers in this field as protein extraction is therein a main method
