Protocols for Preparation of cell lysate from tissue sample - (Apr/15/2008 )

Hi,

I have some tissue taken from the stomach of mice and need to make a cell lysate of this to see if it interacts with a protein. After researching online, protocols tend to give a cell lysis buffer without actually letting me know what is in it for me to make it up! Does anyone have a protocol handy or know of a solution I can buy to achieve this?
