What's the different b/w UV crosslinker and transilluminator - (Apr/09/2008 )

I wonder what is the different b/w UV crosslinker and transilluminator.

the wavelength ... crosslinking uses ~ 250 nm and transilluminators use longer wavelengths > 300 nm.
