Problem with bands of PCR products - (Mar/29/2008 )

I got kind of weird DNA bands while investigating for the presence or absence of genetically modified food sample ( corn was given to me to test) . I got 5 bands in the PCR marker lane . In the lane which had test sample and GM - primers, some bands were observed but not in the range of PCR marker lane. 3 bands are above 1000bp i.e the first band of marker and 2 are below the last band . I am not able to guess what the results are like. Either the test food is genetically modified or not?Can someone help me determine my results. Thanks
