reuse of mineral oil in 2 D gel electrophoresis - can we reuse mineral oil for 2 D gel electrophoresis (Mar/21/2008 )

can any body please tell me if we can reuse mineral oil for overlaying during first dimension seperation of proteins

in principle, it is possible as it does not react during run, however, it may be polluted; take best chemicals for optimum performance
