Hi, what is the meaning of (-) in this buffer solution? I came across this PBS (-) in journals paper [e.g. Triton-X/PBS(-)]

Normally this means Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) WITHOUT divalent cations i.e. Calcium and magnesium
