TaKaRa Ex Taq - Anybody used this Taq? (Mar/10/2008 )

I would like to ask if anyone used TaKaRa Ex Taq. What's your's opinion? High yeild?

We use it and it's pretty reliable. Comparable to other high fidelity polymerases.

In my other lab, we have been using it for several years and it is very reliable, good yield and fidelity. I love this taq! but, if I need to clone something you may want to know that it can introduce some mutantions at a very low rate .....if you need to clone and have your sequence expressing a protein, then I would use other taq...
