cloning with pGEM T-easy vector - question about the vector. (Mar/07/2008 )
This sounds dumb and I think I know the answer but looking at the vector map has me confused. Before being able to use the pGEM T-easy vector does it need to be digested so it's linearized or is the insert site already open? Thanks!

Hey,
if you check the Promega website (pGEM-T easy Vector systems, FAQS), it says that the vector is linearized (EcoRI/NotI sites).

Awesome! I kept looking through the manual and everywhere I could think of on the site - I even checked the FAQs but just didn't come across that one. Thanks!
