For what purpose yeast two hybrid system is used and how actually it works

two hybrid system is used to find potential interactors of a given protein....you have a looot of information about it in the net. to see how it works, a good thing is to read some two hybrid kit manual.......

two hybrid system was refered in a class as fishing and it was clear (at least the concept). you use a protein you know (bait) and see which other proteins couple to it or have some kind of interaction. so that's it in the widest explanation.
