Problem with auto fluorescence in immunohistochemistry - (Mar/01/2008 )

I am using fluorescent tagged primary antibody for my immuno work. Mainly i am working with testis and epididymis sections. The problem is , even the control slides, that is , without antibody elicits very good fluorescence. Please anyone help me .

I know many tissue sections have autofluorescence. Its difficult to overcome. You have to use something other than fluorescence like DAB staining.

My friend quenches autofluorescence in macrophages with CuSO4, but I don't know any details - try searching for that.
